How do I report a cheater?

First, you have to determine if the person is really cheating. Different people use different strategies for the game.

CHEATING
1. Using autoplayers:
a. Automated scripts to heal.
b. Automated scripts to attack and keep health under 20 so you can’t be hitlisted.

NOT CHEATING

1. Leveling up slowly. (Maybe you just don’t spend as much time playing Mafia Wars as everyone else.)
2. Deliberately setting yourself up in the hitlist for experience points.
3. Buying Godfather points. (How else can Zynga pay their programmers?)
4. Signing up for Zynga’s third party offers to get free Godfather points.
5. Changing your title to a lower level in order to trick people into attacking you, thinking you’re at a lower level than you really are. e.g. You have a “Street Thug” title when you already beat the Boss level. (Maybe you just forgot to update your title. The fact that Zynga allows one to change your title means it is part of the game play.)

Second, when you are really sure that the person is cheating, then
a. Click on “Support” on your Mafia Wars Homepage or go to this link: http://zynga.custhelp.com/app
b. Register / Create a New Account with Zynga. This is different from your Facebook / Mafia Wars account.
c. Click on “Ask a Question”.
d. Good Luck! You may have to wait a little while because they probably receive many, many requests from people every day.
